Steve L. Lance, 70, a U.S. Air Force veteran and devoted family man, passed away on December 12, 2025, at Reid Health. He is remembered for his service, faith, and dedication to family.

Steve L. Lance was born on July 19, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Harry Lance, Sr. and Eleanor Lance. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1974 to 1979 and was stationed in Turkey during the Vietnam War.

A longtime resident of Wayne County, Steve was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and valued his community connections.

He is survived by his wife, Joanna Lance, and two brothers, Mike Lance and Jay Lance, along with nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ella Haap, and brothers Harry Lance, Jr. and Tony Lance.
